Aerial Circus

Sheer, shimmering silk stretches
over the delicate frame of your wings,
as you move in choreographed patterns
in the humid summer sky.

Nature’s air show buzzing over head
swooping, circling, diving deep.
Skilled pilots in an aerial circus
mosquito fighters with dual wings

  1. Beautiful imagery, I love this poem, it reminds me of summer afternoons out of by the river.
